Ahead of Sugar Army’s mini-tour of Western Australia, drummer Jamie Sher sits down with CHRIS WHEELDON to discuss playing, writing and Fleetwood Mac.

After busting onto the national scene in 2008 with debut EP, Where Do You Hide Your Toys?, Sugar Army have since played their way around the country, released a full-length album and taken on the opening main stage slot of the Big Day Out.

Now, we've had a ball bringing you a taste of the sumptuous cultural delights of WA - rockin' in the pit; sashaying down the runway; casting an eye on galleries and rolling jaffas down the aisle - but being a seasonal beast it's time for SunsetMag to enter something of a winter hibernation. So, while our eyes are welling at the thought of not visiting your inboxes every fortnight, we want you to know that we're all rugged up planning a summer festival season that'll warm your cockles.

So it's a sign-off for now, Sunsetters - an adieu, not a farewell. We're dreaming up a sultry summer because that's what we do here at SunsetMag, the home of good things Perth.
